Terms and conditions

1 – Turnaround times

Screen printing standard turnaround:
10-14 business days.

Embroidery standard turnaround:
10-14 business days.

Patch manufacturing standard turnaround:
18-25 business days.

Our standard turnaround time starts from the time of 50% or full payment, artwork approval and approved mock-ups. Complex orders/add-ons may increase turnaround. Our turnaround time does not include shipping time. These turnaround times are a guideline, not a guarantee. Select a rush order to have your merchandise quicker. 2 – Specific date deadlines 

Guardian of Bravery will do everything possible to meet your turnaround deadline, but we cannot guarantee it.

Need something in a hurry? Take a look at our Rush order section below. Customer is to be responsible for any expedited or rush shipping services depending on the carrier chosen. We can help with selecting the best shipping option based on when you need the shipment by! Let us know!

3 – Mock-ups & samples 

Our mock-ups will give you a very specific size of the artwork. Please be aware that mock-ups are not exact representations of what your product will look like. We will provide a close estimate for printing/embroidery location, and ink/thread colors that will be used to print or embroider your garment.

Please refer to the actual garment/product for accurate artwork placement. Printing/embroidery mock-ups must be approved before we can proceed to production.

We will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after mock-up approval. Any modifications requested after customer approval will result in production delays and could require additional expenses.

Turnaround time on your order will begin from the time of payment and approved printing/embroidery proofs. 1st and 2nd mock-ups are free of charge. Any revised mock-up after the 2nd will be charge at $10.00 per mock-up.

4 – Screen printing actual sample

1 ink color – $100.00, 1 location
2 ink colors – $125.00, 1 location
3 ink colors – $150.00, 1 location
4 ink colors – $175.00, 1 location
5 ink colors – $200.00, 1 location
6 ink colors – $225.00, 1 location

5 – Embroidery actual sample

when ordering the minimum order of 12 pieces per design, an actual embroidery sample is free!

6 – Artwork 

We accept Illustrator, Photoshop and PDF files. Vector files must have outlined font. As for Photoshop, please rasterize the font. Submit Photoshop files in 300dpi and saved at print size or larger. We are not responsible for spelling, or any mistakes in approved artwork. Artwork must be checked for spelling, color, sizes ordered, placement of the art, and accuracy of the artwork by the customer.  Guardian of Bravery is not responsible for any misspellings, errors, or issues in your art file. We do our best to catch these errors and point them out to you, but we may not catch them all. If you approve the artwork in the mock-up, that is how we will print the artwork. We are not liable for copyrighted artwork, slogans that may occur via customers’ orders. 

Send ready print artwork to avoid extra charges. We have created a page that can get you started on how to create ready to print artwork. If necessary, artwork preparation is required after we have received your file(s). Art time will be billed at our current rate. All provided artwork files are kept on file for re-order purposes only. All new artwork or copy changes are approved via this invoice system. Films and screens remain the property of Guardian of Bravery and may be discarded without notice. All production is subject to photography and/ or video documentation by Guardian of Bravery for but not limited to advertising and demonstration purposes unless otherwise instructed.

7 – Payment

Guardian of Bravery requires a 50% or full payment prior to production. We accept the following payment methods: All major credit cards via PayPal, Checks, Money order and Cash. A PayPal account is not required to pay the invoice. Please note that it may take a few days for a check payment to clear. All orders must be paid in full before merchandise leaves our shop. Orders cannot be cancelled once production starts. Garment production are final, and no refunds or exchanges will be issued. For returned checks, there will be a $30.00 returned check fee plus your total order on your invoice.

8 – Pricing

Guardian of Bravery reserves the right to change pricing without notice. Example: Outdoor, Inc. got a quote 15 days ago and decides to email us today along with the quote we sent. Since then, the price of the T-shirt has gone up in pricing. Guardian of Bravery will provide the latest pricing based on market changes.

9 – Cancellations 

Once you have paid for your invoice; there are no changes to the garment selection, cancellations nor exchanges are allowed. Make sure the garment you have selected is correct before paying. Once we are in the pre-press stage of your order, there are no changes on the artwork nor refund to your order. Before approving your proofs, please make sure that everything is accurate for printing/embroidering. Approving the mock-ups means that you have given the right for Guardian of Bravery to proceed with production.

10 – Reorders

Need to order more? Of course! However, keep in mind that pricing is based on quantity, so your price may go up or down depending on how many you need. Call us or send us an email to provide you the correct pricing based on the quantities needed.

11 – Garment Availability

We have various distributors that supply our garment merchandise. Things may go out of stock from time to time and therefore, we cannot guarantee a specific product’s availability. If it’s a must have product and it is out of stock, our customers have the option of choosing a different style, brand, or wait until that product is re-stocked. Note: Choosing to wait for the merchandise to be re-stocked will delay our standard turnaround time.

12 – Garment Disclaimer

Guardian of Bravery is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.) We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra of each size if an exact count is important. Guardian of Bravery will not be responsible for your selection of choice with the garments printed/embroidered. We are always available to counsel any customer to ensure you choose a garment that matches your needs but we also need you to do your due diligence on the garment selected. If you are unsure of what garment to select, we recommend you to place an order of blank samples for you to choose from. The samples will be billed at per piece rate and shipped without printing or you can choose to pick up the samples you ordered. Blank samples will not credit to the cost of your order.

13 – Under-Runs & Spoilage

Due to unpredictable and unpreventable circumstances in the production process, mistakes can be made.  All orders are subject to a +/- 2% spoilage ratio. While it is rare that spoilage will occur, it is common practice in the printing industry to maintain this policy. If an exact number is required, please include a 2% overage per size in your order.

14 – In a hurry? Rush Orders

Charges based on the turnaround time needed
3-4 business days add $2.00 per garment.
2 business days add $3.00 per garment.

15 – Shipping

Guardian of Bravery is not responsible for any shipping delays caused by the shipping company. We ship with UPS Ground. Need a quicker shipping transit time? Let us know!

16 – Pantone color matching! Get creative!

Although we stock a nice variety of ink colors, we can also mix a specific Pantone color. Extra charges will apply for this service, depending on the amount of ink used for your job. Custom Pantone ink colors are not guaranteed to be exact, but we are able to mix colors very close to Pantone shades! Below is a break down of charges based on the amount of tees you need printed with your custom pantone ink color.

25-99 T-shirts – $15.00 per pantone ink color mix.
100-150 T-shirts – $30.00 per pantone ink color mix.
151-200 T-shirts – $45.00 per pantone ink color mix.
201-250 T-shirts – $60.00 per pantone ink color mix.
251-300 T-shirts – $75.00 per pantone ink color mix.
351-400 T-shirts – $90.00 per pantone ink color mix.

17 – Customer supplied garment

Orders with customer supplied garments are subject to a 3% damage allowance per location. Garments may only be dropped off once an order has been placed, approved and paid for.

 All garments supplied to Guardian of Bravery for screen print or embroidery services must be new and unwashed.

If supplying garments for multiple print/embroidery designs, garments must be sorted and clearly labeled for each design. Bagged and/or unsorted orders may be subject to a sorting fee of $45.00. Customers should attach our invoice, along with a detailed list of garments being supplied, including Brand, Style Number, Color and Size, prior to drop shipping or dropping off garments in person.

18 – Tax

California residents are subject to sales tax. Please provide a valid Resale tax ID Certificate to be exempt from sales tax.

19 – Ownership of artwork 

Unless otherwise arranged prior to production, all artwork, vector images, and screens created by Guardian of Bravery for your order remains the property of Guardian of Bravery Screen printing and will be maintained at our facility for our exclusive usage in executing your orders. Because our policy is to render/ vectorize artwork, these services are consider preparing the files for production orders. Any transfer to the client of rights to creative work and materials prepared or contracted by our personnel is subject to reasonable release fees, commensurate with the creative services rendered and at a value as determined solely by us.

20 – Screen preparation & stock of screens 

Guardian of Bravery screen(s) will be stocked at our facility for our exclusive usage in executing your orders. Screen(s) are kept in stock for 3 months with your image counting from your last order. After 3 months of not being used, we reclaim the screens in order to keep our operation eco-friendly.

21 – Holidays, Yay we get a break!

We love our families and friends, and we like to spend time with them during the holidays! For that reason we are closed for the following holidays. These days will not be considered operational business days and will not count as a turnaround business.
